A & P’s America’s Choice Yellow Rice in the 8oz carton and Mahatama Spicy Yellow Saffron Rice in the foil package produced by Riviana foods contains chicken in the spice ingredients and is NOT kosher. The Star-K symbol was printed in error. There has been an immediate recall of these items. Distribution of Mahatama was limited to a few Southern States. America’s Choice distribution was limited to a few A&P Markets.
